Pour into moulds and allow to set at room temperature. Unmould after 1–2 hours. Wrap in shrink wrap or cling film immediately to prevent sweating.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why choose a transparent soap base over an opaque one?
A: Transparent bases are ideal when you want to showcase embedded botanicals, glitter, or colour gradients — the clarity lets the inclusions show through beautifully. Opaque bases like Goat Milk or Shea Butter are better for pastel and solid colour bars.
Q: Is this base truly sulphate free?
A: Yes — it contains no SLS or SLES. The cleansing comes from Lauryl Glucoside and Cocamidopropyl Betaine, both plant-derived and significantly milder than sulphates.
Q: Can I use this base for sensitive or baby skin?
A: Yes. The sulphate-free, paraben-free formula is well-tolerated by sensitive skin. For baby products, keep fragrance additions below 1% or use fragrance-free and do a patch test.
Q: What fragrances and colours work best with this base?
A: Any cosmetic-grade melt and pour fragrance oil at up to 2–3%. For colours, soap-safe liquid colours, micas, or cosmetic pigments at up to 0.5% give vivid results without clouding the clarity. Avoid water-based colours as they can cause separation or cloudiness.
Q: How many soap bars does 1 kg make?
A: Approximately 8–10 bars of 100 g each, depending on your mould size and any additives.
Q: Can I blend this with the Goat Milk or Shea Butter base?
A: Yes, all three bases are compatible and can be blended in any ratio. A common combination is 70% transparent + 30% goat milk for a semi-clear, nourishing bar.
Q: Does this base sweat or develop condensation?
A: Glycerin-based bases attract moisture from humid air, which can cause surface sweating. Always wrap finished bars in shrink wrap or airtight packaging immediately after setting — especially important in India's humid climate.
Q: Can I add aloe vera gel, honey, or milk to this base?
A: Yes, water-soluble additives like aloe vera gel or honey can be added at 1–3% after melting. Avoid adding large quantities of water or aqueous extracts as they can cause microbial growth and reduce shelf life.
Q: Can I use essential oils instead of fragrance oils?
A: Yes. Add at 1–2% after the base has cooled to around 55°C to prevent evaporation of volatile top notes. Heat-sensitive essential oils like citrus should be added last and kept below 55°C.
Q: What is the minimum order quantity?
A: 1 kg. Bulk pricing is available at 5 kg and 20 kg slabs — see variant options above.
