Redensyl and Anagain Hair Growth Serum
Anagain is ECOCERT and Natural approved. It is based on pea sprouts which aids in hair growth. Combination of Anagain and Redensyl has shown significant hair growth. This serum has a combination of proven ingredients. It is tried and tested by couple of our team members.
About the ingredients:
Hyaluronic acid: Hyaluronic acid is an excellent humectant. It hydrates scalp which helps in reducing dry scalp.
Propanediol 1,3: It is another humectant which can be used to hydrate HA here.
Caffeine: Caffeine has antioxidant which helps in stimulating hair growth. Caffeine is also known to reduce hair loss, thicken hair and provide shine to hair.
Anagain: Anagain which is based on pea sprouts stimulates specific signal molecules in the dermal papilla required to reactivate hair growth. Research has shown 78% increase in hair growth. When our formulator tested this serum, she saw hair growth in 3 weeks. It is ECOCERT approved which means it is natural.
Redensyl: Redensyl is another popular hair growth ingredient which is known to reduce hair loss, stimulate hair growth. These are stable to formulate.
DM water: Demineralised Water/Deionised water
ASES Preserve PHEHG: Broad spectrum preservative which is effective in water based serums as well. To make it better soluble, propanediol and HA would help.
Green tea extract: Green tea extract is rich in anti-oxidants. It is soothing and anti-inflammatory. It reduces irritation and prevents dandruff.
Ingredients required: (100g)
Hyaluronic acid: 0.5g
Propanediol 1,3: 3g
Caffeine: 0.5g
Anagain: 3g
Redensyl: 3g
DM water: 88.8g
ASES Preserve PHEHG: 1g
Green tea extract: 0.2g
Equipment required:
Serum pump bottles
100ml glass beakers
Steel or Glass Stirring rods and Spatulas
Heating mantle or Double boiler
Weighing scale (that measures up to 0.01g)
Cups to measure ingredients
Gloves
Head cap
Eye goggles/ glasses
Procedure:
- Measure HA and Propanediol
- Add HA in Propanediol to hydrate.
- Measure Anagain, Caffeine, Redensyl in a beaker with water.
- Heat it below 50 deg C until powders melt
- Once it comes to room temperature add HA mix.
- Add ASES Preserve and Green tea extract.
- Check pH and adjust accordingly.
- Pour in serum bottle or pump bottle.
How to use:
- Apply it weekly thrice to the scalp in the night. This doesn’t make hair oily so need not be washed.
- Do not apply on oily hair.
