Pearling Agent Liquid for Shampoo
Pearling agents or pearlizers are cosmetic chemicals that are used to provide shine and sparkle to cosmetic products. In general, the lustre effect is created by the use of microfine crystalline substances that may reflect light waves.

Pearlizers are frequently used to give a cosmetic product a luxury appearance. Pearling agents in personal care products such as shampoos and shower gels frequently contain thickening and emulsifying properties.
- It helps to increase the viscosity of your DIY formulation, hence, adding the desired thickness to your product.
- It is used as an opacifier in many cosmetic products, as it makes the formulation opaque or translucent.
- It is compatible with other surfactants and active ingredients, thus providing stability to your formulation.

CONCENTRATION AND SOLUBILITY-
It is recommended that it should be used at a concentration of 2 to 5%. It is soluble in water, ethanol, ether, and acetone and is insoluble in volatile oils.
HOW TO USE-
- Heat the water and oil phases of your DIY formulation separately.
- Add our pearling agent to the heated water phase.
- Add active and stabilizing ingredients to the water phase.
- Blend both the phases using a mini-mixer until a homogenous mixture is obtained.
