Sodium starch glycolate is an off-white, odourless, tasteless, free-flowing sodium salt of carboxymethyl ether powder. It is made from corn or potato starch and is used as a pharmaceutical-grade dissolving agent and super disintegrant.

  • It is recommended that it should be used at a concentration of 6%.
  • It is nearly insoluble in water and most organic solvents.

HOW TO USE-

  • Mix it with a small amount of water.
  • Blend it thoroughly until no lumps remain, then fold it into the batter of the mixture.
