Copper Sulphate Pentahydrate is copper sulphate hydrate in the pentahydrate form. Copper sulphate is an inorganic copper-sulfur combination. BENEFITS AND USES-
- Bordeaux and Burgundy are mixed with Copper Sulphate Pentahydrate for use as fungicides.
- Other copper fungicides manufactured include copper-lime dust, tribasic copper sulphate, copper carbonate, and cuprous oxide.
- Insecticides such as copper arsenate and Paris green are manufactured using copper sulphate pentahydrate.
- It is used in fungus and disease control.
- It is used for the correction of soil copper deficiency.
- It is used for the correction of animal copper insufficiency.
- It provides growth hormone used to fatten pigs and broiler chickens.
- Molluscicide is used to kill slugs and snails, especially the snail host of the liver fluke.
HOW IT WORKS-
- It works by providing crops with essential nutrients like Copper and sulphur.
- Copper and sulphur are necessary for the synthesis of chlorophyll and the proper growth of plants.
TIME OF APPLICATION-
- It can be used all throughout the year.
- It should be used at least once a month to avoid the leaves turning yellow and curling on your plants.
RECOMMENDED USAGE-
- For spraying, the recommended usage is 2% weight by volume.
- Use 5–10 kg/acre for solid application.
HOW TO USE-
- Our copper sulphate pentahydrate should be added to a sprayer or mixing tank that is already filled with fresh water.
