Bismuth Nitrate
Rs. 600.00
Bismuth Nitrate is a crystalline Bismuth source suitable for nitrate and acidic pH applications. Bismuth Nitrate is an oxidizing agent as well. It can generate a combustible combination when combined with hydrocarbons. It is a great precursor for the synthesis of ultra-pure chemicals, as well as certain catalysts and nanoscale materials. Bismuth Nitrate is usually readily available in large quantities.
INCI Name- Bismuth Subnitrate
Molecular Formulae- Bi (NO3)3
Alternative Names- Bismuth Trinitrate, Bismuth (III) Nitrate Pentahydrate
Purity of Ingredient- 99%
Country of Origin- India
BENEFITS AND APPLICATION-
- Bismuth nitrate is used in cosmetics as a pigment.
- It is also used in cosmetics to give it a pearly look.
- Bismuth nitrate is used to avoid kidney damage from cancer medications, bone marrow damage from radiation, and a digestive system infection that can lead to ulcers.
- Bismuth nitrate is commonly combined with other metals and is used in fire detectors and extinguishers, as well as electric fuses and solders.
- In agriculture, bismuth nitrate is used as a micronutrient fertilizer.
- In the production of high-quality glass, it is used to eliminate air bubbles from molten glass.
- It has no known biological role and is non-toxic.
HOW IT WORKS-
- Bismuth nitrate induces the production of metallothionein in certain cells. This protein defends the cells against free radical damage.
CONCENTRATION AND SOLUBILITY-
- It should be used at a concentration of 0.4 to 5%.
- It is soluble in water, slightly soluble in acids, but is insoluble in oils.
