How to Make Blueberry Exfoliating Shower Gel - Step-by-Step
Step 1: Prepare Phase A
Measure Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate and Coco Betaine into a beaker. Set aside.
Step 2: Hydrate Xanthan Gum
Mix glycerin with xanthan gum until fully dispersed and smooth.
This prevents clumping.

Step 3: Add Color
Dip a spatula into Indigo Carmine and dust it into Phase B.
A tiny amount (<0.05%) gives a rich blueberry color.

Step 4: Combine Phase A & B
Add Phase B slowly to Phase A while stirring gently.
Avoid vigorous mixing to prevent excess foam.
Step 5: Add Phase C Ingredients
Add each Phase C ingredient one by one, mixing after every addition.

Step 6: Adjust pH
Check pH and adjust to 5.5 using lactic acid or a mild base if needed.

Step 7: Bottle the Product
Transfer the shower gel into a clean bottle.
Let it rest so trapped bubbles can rise and settle.
